Rockin stock caps and white steel wheels

Well my 10 week wait for white steel wheels is over! Long story but Wheel Vintiques would be my last choice for a wheel supplier. 2in lift with 285-75-16 Cooper AT3's Stock caps and 16x8 steel wheels.

Thanks I'm still getting it 100% but I loved driving it to work today about 28 miles one way! A couple more shots.

Love it, but now you scared me on the Wheel Vintiques. I better shop around before I order now!

Very well done! Is there a build or spec thread on this truck? Normally I don't care for the 400 series deluxe two-tone but it looks so right on this truck. More pictures! :-)

Re: Rockin stock caps and white steel wheels

With the effort I put into a set of 16.5 x 8.25 in locating, shipping, powder coating, and getting tires I'd take a 10 week wait for those wheels. Good choice. Hope my K20 looks half as good.

Re: Rockin stock caps and white steel wheels

Looks great. I have never strayed from this look. That's what classic is,something that looked good then, looks good now,and will always look good. For wide 16" steel OEM style wheels there is no easy way to go,I guess. It's either Wheel Vintiques or custom-built.

Good looking truck. Love the color combo also. I think that is what makes that truck with the wheels and tires.

Re: Rockin stock caps and white steel wheels

You just can't beat that. I would rather have that on my truck than a 4 grand set of billets, seriously. I have loved those style caps since I was 16 when we bought our new GMC C20. I wish they made those to fit the C10.
As a side note, if you are going to drive her a lot, I would consider 3M clear bra for the front of that hood, that will protect it from rock chips and bug chips.

Re: Rockin stock caps and white steel wheels

I had a set made by Stockton Wheels in Stockton Ca about 8 years ago. They charged me $200.00 for the set plus shipping.

Truck looks great.

Re: Rockin stock caps and white steel wheels

Thanks Eric... it has some of the parts I bought from you on it!

Thanks Tim, I have some crappy build pics in my album. I will post more when I finsh up the AC and interior. Not sure if your 400 is a ref to the factory dark blue. The blue is BC CC Dodge Viper Blue I think it works well with that much white.

Tom... the 3M clear film is a good idea for the hood front I already have it below all the lower trim since I live on a gravel road. My dad always had a bug deflector on the front of his Longhorn back in the day.

Thanks everyone else for the positive comments!
