Exclamation need help fast

A while ago I heard a pop and smelled a burning smell in the 1 ton. After that the amber and clearance lights would light up with the brake lights and turn signal/hazard lights don't work. I tried changing the turn signal switch in the column since I thought it might be shorting out in there.. and now the turn signal/hazard don't even work. Idk if I installed the switch wrong or what's going on. Help is really needed, I'd like to get it working again for this weekend. Thanks

Re: need help fast

On these older truck all the light power runs through the switch, and it could be you issue.

Re: need help fast

the lights aren't brightening anymore with the brake lights so that's good, but the turn signals aren't working. I'm pretty positive that I wired up the new turn signal switch correctly, but is there a thread showing the correct way?
