Re: Look what happens when you mix a suburban and a truck

I always wanted to do one of those. Pretty cool but definitely need to change some things to get it out of the 80s.

I like it; though I'd use different rims and put chrome bumpers on it, but I'd honestly prefer a Suburban or a truck.

Re: Look what happens when you mix a suburban and a truck

15 or 20 years ago I went up behind a friend's place in Roslyn Wa and drug a crusty Suburban out of the woods intending to use the back quarters to do something like that and they were in such bad shape when I got it home that I bagged the idea. I think it cost me 200 bucks to go after that burb that was free and get it home and I still haven't used any of it although I have most of the burb window trim in the shed.

I just noticed that it has truck suspension front and rear under it.

That's a good looking truck it just needs to be freshened up a bit.

77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.

Re: Look what happens when you mix a suburban and a truck

I think they and I were thinking that the wheels had a real 80's look to them. Much like the Enkie 32 Modular wheels on my 48 do.

I did go on their website and see that their asking price is 27,999.00 Which isn't outrageous for that truck. http://www.kompactkarkorner.com/lynn...d-cars-everett I came close to buying a Corvette there about 25 years ago when they were heavy duty into Corvettes.

I think its dated based on the wheels, stance, chop, interior, color option, hood mods, the choice of exaust tips and rear lights... do people still do a lot of those to their trucks? yes... but it was way more common in the late 80's and 90's which gives it that dates look. I am assuming that the truck was probably customized in the early 90s?

Reminds me of a girl I used to date, wide flat backside. I like Orges take on it better.
