what all year 4l60e fit in 2000
I've got code 1870. I've read all about it but I'm kinda stranded in Spokane Washington till I get this fixed. I found a few trannys on cl but what all years will work for a 2000 1500?

I have never changed a transmission because of a P1870 code.....Its generally the Isolator/Converter valve bore is worn out...and results in poor, or no, TCC apply. A Trans-Go SK 4l60E shift kit "Fixes" the valve body bore with a long ISO/CONV valve. How to test if the valve body is worn.... Cold engine, Clear the code, Test drive the truck....If it shifts fine & no codes while cold.......Then it heats up & acts-up.......Its the valve body. Buying a used transmission is a big gamble because it might have the same problem yours does...... |
