Dark Olive with Saddle Interior

Anyone have any pictures of this combo? I have a dark olive truck with all dark olive interior, and I'm thinking about buying a set of saddle bucket seats from someone (great deal - $125 and in great shape) and changing my interior trim to saddle. Below is a pic of my truck as it currently sits.

That looks great the way it is. What about trying the new seats without changing the rest?

I personally wouldn't be a fan of olive/saddle, but anything is possible. if you're getting the seats for so cheap - that's a GREAT deal - then maybe you could grab a set of olive seat covers. Olive seat covers are probably less expensive than saddle carpet, visors, door panels, arm rests, steering wheel/column paint, dash pad and so on.

I don't need to see a picture to know it would look great! The other guys are right though. Swap out the seat and carpet. If its not enough replace the dash pad with a Saddle colored one and go from there. Have you seen crsweets91's French seamed dash pads? They are the best money can buy! Your truck looks great as it sits but I think Saddle would look nice in that cab as well!

Re: Dark Olive with Saddle Interior

I love the steering wheel I just posted a thread yesterday about using a steering wheel from a 67 or 68 in my 71 Cheyenne which happens to be dark olive. I absolutely love the wheel and in answer to your question I am partial to the green interior, but the saddle would probably look real cool as well.

Re: Dark Olive with Saddle Interior

Thank you. Yeah my truck is a 70, but I prefer the 67-68 steering wheels much better. So I grabbed one in good shape, filled in the cracks and painted it.

To anyone out there, what's the difference between saddle and the the darker version? What's the darker version called? Is that just dark brown?

Here's a Medium Olive with Saddle that might give you an idea.

Here's the build with more pics.
