Roller into a trailer?

I bought a 64 LB FS "roller" with no front clip or motor/trans for $200 with title
The bed is in great shape minus the wood being gone. I bought it for the great cab (mine is a hacked up mess) PO I was going to swap cabs, find a clip and motor/trans and resell. Now I am thinking of just making into a utility trailer. Any thoughts? This would leave me with a good title for a barn or field find too.

Me too on the time. Told my wife I was thinking about spending Memorial Day weekend getting it done. Did not go over with the wife very well. She is great and always says yes but I can tell by the way she says it. I will be working on it another weekend.

Re: Roller into a trailer?

I get that, Im planning on media blasting my frame (trailer) and the bed parts, then Ill start putting it together. I may have to purchase a couple cross braces because of the awful rust on these that came with the long bed.

My trailer was a long bed, the bed was so far gone, I scrapped it. the only parts that were usable were two of the fender braces, everything else had bad holes and missing parts.

Re: Roller into a trailer?

That is why I feel a little bad. This truck is in the beginning stages of being redone. The bodywork on the bed is great. The bed is straight and primed and ready for paint. I will pull it to prep and paint the frame. Pull my cab that is AWESOME and keep the title and vin plate for ???
