1978 c-10 350
I want to strip uder the hood of all that don't need to be on the engine or on fender walls an fire wall. I want to strip the air cansters an all that is not needed. Can this be done. All I need I think is the dizzy vacum an the heater vac, if it has it. Please help me. Wendell of Guntersville,Al. It is a 350.With a 350 Trans.

Welcome to the Forum!
When you get a chance post a picture up of the truck so we can check it out. Before you start tearing off stuff I would make sure to check you local laws to make sure you don't have to have smog protection or anything of that nature that would prevent you from passing inspection. It indeed can be done but it's time consuming and like I suggested make sure you won't be in any violation of the law.

If you buy a vintage air kit you can remove all the ac stuff off the firewall but its not cheap.
