Re: Okies check in

I understand the forum has rules but this thread needs to be a sticky in every main section. Moving this thread here (General Discussion) has severely limited the number of folks that will see it.

My prayers to everyone affected by this disaster.

Re: Okies check in

My family is all good. There is a thread about this in the regional/oklahoma section. I don't know anyone who lives in that area from this site but one coworker/ friend lives behind south Moore school. He does not have a cell phone so have not heard from him....

Re: Okies check in

Prayers to all affected. It makes me sick that "The Today Show" was there getting in the way this morning and making their millions while people are in a dire situation. They could have put the cameras and microphones down and lent a hand to help the storm victims. Also they should never source out children that just went through a traumatic event and interview them for the sake of ratings. The media is worthless.

Sorry, rant over.

Re: Okies check in

Storms weakened before they hit eastern Oklahoma where we live, such a sad shame that the people of Moore have been hit twice by F5 tornadoes. The paths from each one took a very similar path. Another thing that sickens me is the fact that people in other states make ignorant statements about people being stupid for staying in Tornado alley. They dont realize it stretches from Illinois to Texas, and every region faces its own challenges from Mother Nature. Praying for all the families effected, especially thos who lost children

Re: Okies check in

Hope & pray that none of our fellow forum members were affected. Sending thoughts & prayers out to anyone who may have been affected directly or indirectly by this tragic event. Sad to think this is just the beginning of the season of wrath mother nature often takes upon our country. I have folks in Northeast Mississippi & Southwest TN who are often in the same line of fire with these storms.
