not sitting right
i hate to keep asking the same question but is it a big deal if there is a 5/8 difference in clearance on the front bump stops? i switched the coils from one side to the other ,measured the frame,we have checked everything we cant figure it out.1972 c10 2wd.thanks

Are you talking about 5/8" of suspension travel, or an overall height difference from right to left side?

These trucks are old. It could have been in a mild fender bender back in the day and have a couple tweaks here and there. Old suspension bushings could be shot too.

i am measuring from the top of the bump stop to the area were it hits.the left front frame horn is only 1/4 inch down.it is a old drag racing truck.it was hit hard on the driver side.i replaced upper and lower ball joints, new coils,all bushings look ok.it was dropped when i bought it i think it is lowered 5 inches in front.i am talking about overall ride height.

It's probably gonna be that way unless you go through it from scratch and check straightness of the frame and sheetmetal.

Step away from the tape measure.
These 40 plus year old work horses have seen plenty. The lightly used ones were abused by todays standards. Even the frame off restorations with all new high quality suspension parts are off a little.
