Identify these rotors and spindles

I am starting on my 1955 BBW build and after i cleaned out nearly a decade of leaves and debris i found these front spindles and rotors. Before i scrap them I am hoping someone may be able to identify them and let me know if they may be of value to someone. It appears the guy i purchased the truck from intended to use them. I can only assume it would have been on the truck. I have long lost his information so i am looking to you guys for assistance.

Any assistance would be appreciated. thanks

Here is my project!

I can see the numbers on one of them. I would google the numbers and see if that tells you anything.

I'm thinking GM truck. Probably mid 70's 1/2 ton.

Re: Identify these rotors and spindles

I checked the Chevelle spindles. They look more like Camaro/Nova spindles and less like the ones I have.

I looked at the ebay item for the c10 spindles. They do look similar but the steering are is attached on the c10 spindle and not on mine.

Maybe someone else is familiar and will be able to identify. But thanks so far!

Re: Identify these rotors and spindles

I'm thinking these are rear spindles on a front wheel drive car but I don't know which one. There should be a number on the spindle.

Re: Identify these rotors and spindles

the rear of the spindle has CFD

The front of the spindle has 955 A2488 Mexico 8B13-1 MINTHICK

looks like a riddle to me

Re: Identify these rotors and spindles

To me, it looks like an 88-98 2WD full size spindle that has had the steering arm chopped off and something made to bolt the steering arm onto the back side.

After reading your post and going back and studying them I tend to believe that they have been modified somewhat to be put on something that they didn't come on.

Re: Identify these rotors and spindles

Well my point for the thread was to identify the spindles to see if they may be something someone could use. I was/am going to scrap them but didn't want to scrap anything of value.

There was a pair of vw wheels that were in the scrap pile that my buddy told me are rare and worth $100 a piece. I gave them to him and they are now being used. I also had a pair of 3 piece wheels from the 80's that I just sold for $200.

I will clear my contious and leave these with my scrap and collect my $0.04/lb or whatever its selling for.

Thanks
