Ujoint sizes?

So long as I'm home from work (sick) and posting lots of questions,
What size U joint do the TF trucks take? A 1310 ?
I need to rebuild the driveline & have the trans-to-center-support section shortened, want to make sure I buy the right yoke for the trans, too (bought trans without one)

Re: Ujoint sizes?

It looks like there are different options in different spots depending on what engine and trans it had.
I looked on Napa, O'Reilly's and Rock Auto's sites and only Autozone showed U joints listed where I could find them. http://www.autozone.com/autozone/par.../N-j3zqxZ6o242

The alternate number such as 269 or 369 should be a Precision number.

On the yoke it is going to have to fit the trans of choice. The original three speeds used a course splined yoke but most of the later ones use the fine spline yoke like the turbo 350 uses.

48 Chev 3100 that will run a 292 Six.
71 GMC 2500 that is getting a Cad 500 transplant.
77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.
