Front Disc brake kit question.

Anyone know who makes this brake kit that Eckler's sells? I'm guessing it's CPP or POL.

http://www.ecklerstrucks.com/chevy-t...1947-1959.html

They have a 20% off deal for Memorial Day. I was wondering if I should take advantage of it or not. They have a $650 minumum price to get the 20% off deal so I was thinking on getting the Raingear wiper set up along with the brake kit to make the minimum.

I do want to say that I want to get a good quality brake kit. So, if anyone thinks there's a clearly better kit out there, I'd like to hear those comments.

Re: Front Disc brake kit question.

It's probably a CPP kit, but that's not a bad thing. I'm well pleased with my disk brake setup that I bought from Tucker's but came directly from CPP. My truck stops great. I bought the power steering kit that uses the Chevy truck box at the same time, but I don't recommend that.

Re: Front Disc brake kit question.

My kit came from PBS Power Brakes, in Orange, CA. Not sure if it is the same set in the photo.

The tech help from ABS was outstanding.

Re: Front Disc brake kit question.

I think that is the CPP kit, as the POL kit comes with wheel studs (which I don't see in the picture)
I would avoid the POL kit - the one I got doesn't fit right & their customer service sucks.

Re: Front Disc brake kit question.

Here's the photo of the kit from the POL site:

And, here's the photo of the kit from the CPP site:

Neither of these is the exact same photo as the Eckler's kit.
