New parts

Hey people's....LoL!

I've been looking around the net for the last few months, looking for body parts for my 57 GMC pickup, doors, fenders, complete floor, etc.

I've found some, .....some are cheaper, shipping is more, others are more shipping is cheaper.

I wanter to know where would be the best place to buy parts ( quality ) for those of you who have bought parts, which places have you bought from in the past, what did you like about them?

I'm from canada, so i know i have to pay a little extra to get shipping across the border, anyone know of any sources from Canada ? or i was thinking maybe from NewHampshire ( no tax ) Thanks guys.

I am also on the hunt for sheet metal parts Front fenders for 58 chevy. Too coslty to repair. I have noticed that new fender from each vendor different price, as much as $100 difference. Cant tell quality from a picture. I have considered rust free used fenders from midwest.
Any feedback on new vs used sheet metal what to consider?
Does everthing line up?
Are after market parts thinner gauge?

I've always subscribed to the touch and feel before I buy thing. Meaning head to the bigger swap meets or a Good guys event and see what the vendors have for sale and check the stuff out. Quite often they run specials at such events and you also don't have to pay shipping. I've had vendors at Goodguys offer some pretty interesting deals on Sunday afternoon when they didn't want to pack stuff up in the trailer to haul it home too. Even if you aren't ready to buy it helps to be able to see the stuff various venders offer and be able to decide who you want to order from later.
