Couple shots for Memorial day weekend...













I shot these 3 years ago... at my Granny's funeral.
She was an Army nurse... stationed at Pearl Harbor during it's attack.

That's a nicely done reminder of what this weekend is all about.

My mother grows and sell flowers to people who take them to decorate the graves in the Yakima valley and surrounding area. While there are ceremonies to honor those were in the military we also place flowers on the graves of family and friends as has been a local custom for as long as I have been alive.

71 GMC 2500 that is getting a Cad 500 transplant.
77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.

Asa that is a very good reminder for what the day is all about. Remembering those who served in our militaries, fought and died for our freedoms and way of life. Freedom doesn't come free. Thankyou my friend.
And thank a veteran today or currently serving soldier. A handshake, card or phone call to let them know they are appreciated would be great.
