Motor placement
So I've been seeing a bunch of questions on what headers to use, because most don't clear the steering box.
I've been thinking about this, and I want to know what you guys think. What if you offset the motor towards the passenger side an inch or two(or more if you have to) move the center support for the drive shaft so it's inline with the new motor/trans set up. Then have the second drive shaft piece go at an angle from the center support to the rear end. |

Re: Motor placement
Depending on height of the motor it gets tight on the passenger side fairly quickly too. Mine is offset slightly but no way 2 inches. The passenger side exhaust will dictate how close you can go. Ram horns worked well for me.
