suspension question
I am doing something that some might think is a bit strange. I am installing a trailing arm suspension I had from a 1966 short wheelbase into my 1951 flatbed shop truck build. My question is I will be lowering the factory ride height by about 4 inches, and was was wondering what angle the shocks should be mounted/re-located.

Re: suspension question
theres no specific angle needed
but the shock relocation kit isnt that great the further or steep angle the shocks are at makes for more bouncy springs because the shock are not at their full potential so in short, keep the shocks as straight as possible as of where you mount them is up to you there is countless places

Re: suspension question
I have heard not to exceed 15 degrees for best performance on shocks.
Just relocated my front top/frame mounts to work off the upgraded crossmember - rg |
