2006 d-max glow plugs
so my truck threw a code for 2,3,5 glow plug.replaced the plugs and still the same code.i have read a recall for the gp control module.anyone had a similar problem.

did the glow plugs cycle after you installed them.codes wont clear till glow plugs cycle.and did you replace thr correct glow plugs-odd bank is on the right side and even bank is the left side.

replaced glow pugs.pulled negative to batteries.waited 30 minutes then fired.light is still on.tomorrow i will have a obd2 to verify.

Code won't clear with batteries unhooked. Need a scanner. If the glowplugs didn't cycle the code won't clear either. If they do cycle it could take s few key cycles for the light to go off.
