Cleaning original Blue seat belts
I would like to clean my seat belts up a little if possible. They are Blue, anybody have any tips? They aren't real bad, but could use a cleaning.

I sprayed mine with spray n wash and soaked in the sink with hot water and laundry detergent overnight. Rinsed out the soap real good and then took a bristled brush like you would use to scrup carpet and scrubbed over it in the sink under running water. Then I hung it up to dry overnight.
I also re-dyed mine black with rit dye. You can clean out the buckle and polish it up while you got the cover off. Mine had all kinds of dirt, lint, grime, etc in it under the buckle cover. I only did a center belt, didn't mess with the retracting parts, but it should still work. I noticed lots of guys pulling the belts all the way out and using a clip to keep the belt from retracting. Hope it helps you some!
