Rims and tires

Putting a 4 and 6 inch lowering kit on my 71 c10 longbed. I want to put20 in boss 338 rims on it but unsure of what size and offset will work any suggestions"

Keith was size tires did you go with? Do they ever rub?

mine never rub and i went with the boss 338 22's with a 4/6 drop with a 1.5 block

I like a 255/40 up front and a 295/40 in the rear.
You will be fine with a 4/6 drop.

Make sure you use rear shock relocators, an adjustable track bar and drop shocks.

I planned on buying a drop kit with dropped spindles shorter shocks and coils. Is it cheaper to just buy the parts

Kits usually come out slightly cheaper than buying all the parts seperately.
