Rims and tires
Putting a 4 and 6 inch lowering kit on my 71 c10 longbed. I want to put20 in boss 338 rims on it but unsure of what size and offset will work any suggestions"

mine never rub and i went with the boss 338 22's with a 4/6 drop with a 1.5 block

You will be fine with a 4/6 drop. Make sure you use rear shock relocators, an adjustable track bar and drop shocks.

I planned on buying a drop kit with dropped spindles shorter shocks and coils. Is it cheaper to just buy the parts

Kits usually come out slightly cheaper than buying all the parts seperately.
