Re: Sway Bar Bushing Clamps
Aftermarket bushings come w/the brackets. Prob won't find many left on dealership shelves but salvage yards usually have them.

Re: Sway Bar Bushing Clamps
That picture is one of mine. The part number written on the cardboard is still a viable GM number. My dealership keeps them in stock. Just walk in and tell them how many you want.

Re: Sway Bar Bushing Clamps
How does that improve it? I read it somewhere else but I don't get how it works. Is it something you can't explain and just know it works?

Re: Sway Bar Bushing Clamps
OE rubber bushings have a lot of excess material which allows movement/flex from deflection. Poly bushings deflect much less. When used in the frame position they allow the sway bar to pivot up/down w/o deflecting. Think of it like a 35 series Z rated tire on a Vette to a 75 series tire on a van. Shorter, stiffer rubber offers better (more precise) control of what ever it contains. Using the OE brackets w/aftermarket (parts store) bushings @ the control arms offer better control vs factory rubber w/o the binding associated when using poly in this position.
