Project/SloGo
Hope this wrks this time...
Found this truck on craigslist up in Youngsville Nc a bone stock never painted, rust free, six cylinder, three on the tree.. and a few dings...lol had all the paper work from the owner who kept records of just about everything that he had done to the truck... very cool. I almost hate to do this to it......LOL NOT... Plans are: Porterbuilt DM front & rear, wildwood disc brakes all around, repaint under the hood and inside cab with a few minor mods wanna keep it clan a simple, tilt steering, A/C, will run the six with a 700r4, nine inch w/350 gear, steelies w/caps... And upgrade to a low mileage LS 4l60/80, 20/22 wheel and tire combo somewhere in the future. Last edited by 1lo67; 06-04-2013 at 09:02 AM. |

Love it! Love that GMC in the back ground. Do you have a build thread on it?

Re: Project/SloGo
looks like you have a great truck to start with. pb parts look great as always. i have a question for you. if i read it correctly, your building it with the 250 3ott correct(then switching to ls later on)? whats your plan for the tranny mount? i`m going this way and will be installing in a few weeks(i hope). my tranny just has the bell housing mounts i believe. also if you dont want those rally center caps you can send them my way(need a nice set).lol

Thanks guys, the burb is a lot of fun.. I will be running a 7r4 behind the six so the pb mount should work for me... hangin on to the rallys & caps for awhile never know when I might need them. |

Waiting on my rear end to get cut down along with new axles and bearings so I can finish mocking up the back half.

It's looking good. I'm in the same stage of my build as you. It sure is fun bolting all of the porterbuilt stuff on.
