That was a cool look in 72 and still is 40 years later.

Re: Margaret's new shoes ~
Thanks again everyone for the kind responses.
When I got the truck in March of 2012 it already had the paint and body completed and I was told everything was mechanically sound (nut & bolt restoration). This was at an auction where you can’t test drive the vehicles. So long story short – I thought I had done my due diligence inspecting everything but I think my emotions got the best of me. The seller was not very truthful and I learned some very valuable lessons. So after a month of being upset (with myself), I made the decision to fix it the way I wanted it, and to fix it right. I will never attempt to do to anyone else what the seller did to me. My plans are to enjoy the truck this summer and take her to auction in September. If it doesn’t sell then I going to go crazy with engine/trans upgrades and hopefully have her ready for next year’s power tour – (a bucket list thing). It’s been a long process but enjoyable and……I don’t think I could have done it with out this site! Here are things that needed immediate attention – Brakes, rotors, ball joints, shocks, carb (rebuild), ignition switch (had only one sweet spot where it would turn). I decided to lower her a little with new ECE springs (1.5 front and 3.0 back) along with an adjustable panhard bar while doing the ball joints and replacing the trailing arm bushings. After we finished up the important stuff I moved on with detailing the cab – Cleaning the visors, and headliner, new headliner trim, a rebuilt instrument cluster with tach from VA72C10, a NOS AC/heater controller from DPassmore, new duct work, 67 camaro rosewood steering wheel, carpet, floor mats, etc. The seat is in really great shape so that stayed the same. All I lack is getting a functioning AM/FM radio. Then some fun stuff – Functional AC, new exhaust, Eaton 3.42 posi, and new Torq Thrust D’s with the BFG TA radials. It’s truly a pleasure to drive and sure does get attention when my wife and I cruise to Sonic on pretty Sundays for ice cream. Thanks again!
