Do suburban buckets recline cause Blazers don't

I went to look at a set up buckets from an 85 K5 today. They were in awsome condition but the only thing was they didn't recline any and the passenger mount latched in to the floor in the rear. I am sure I could bolt suburban framing to them and get them to work though. Since the blazers don't recline so I was wondering if suburban seats do. Was thinking about putting them in my K30 with the center console but console was broke as well.

I don't know about the Burb seats, but at least through the early to mid-80's, the Blazer seats were fixed-back. I've never owned a mid 80's to end-of-run 91 Blazer or Burb. Some of those seats may recline. They also changed the seat bases somewhere in there. Lots of different combinations in there I'm ignorant about but others here can fill in the details.

My burb seats look original, but they only have one armrest. So I can't swap them and I have to keep the control on the inside..The passenger seat looks brand new.

No big deal... I never adjust anyway. It's pinned against the back.

Re: Do suburban buckets recline cause Blazers don't

I know they won't recline very much given they would be in a RC but a little would help. Also the fact that I would like them to be able to flip forward.

They don't flip forward...They kind of recline forward. If that makes sense. You have to use the dial to adjust them forward which is a bit awkward because the dial is on the inside.

Re: Do suburban buckets recline cause Blazers don't

If anybody is planning on putting Suburban seats into a pickup, it's easier imo to use 2 sets of pickup bench seat tracks-the floors are different-the Burban tracks curve downwards while the pickup tracks curve upwards in the rears. I have a build thread on my shortbox build going now but I'll post a pic of my 1990 Suburban buckets in my 86 K10.....

All of my parts for my interior restoration are junkyard pieces...I hit a lot of yards pretty regularly but I do get lucky too....lol

That's funny! I just got done reading your build thread before I got back to this this thread. Now I am not sure if they offer burgandy buckets in burbs since that is what my K30 interior is. Might just have to revert to keeping a bench in it and finding some gray buckets to put in my short bed. Decisions, decisions.
