Wiring the horn

Hey guys, can it really be that hard? Please tell me how to wire up the horn. I assume the black wire coming down the column (which is attached to the upper column bearing) gets wired directly to the horn; this is the "horn button" wire. How does the switch get grounded? This cant be that hard. thansk in advance for the advice..

Re: Wiring the horn

Actually let me restate. I assume the black wire coming out of the column goes to the horn relay (which then feeds the horn itself). Anyone have a wiring diagram for the horn for a 58?

Re: Wiring the horn

Horn relay has batt power, wire to horn, wire to horn button. Horn button provides ground path for relay coil. When energized, relay contacts provide power to horn from batt terminal.
