Beginner Restoration Location Questions
Hey, all.
I'm starting to plan the restoration of my '71 C/10 SWB and I don't have much room at the house I'm renting. I'm wondering what you have done to find a safe place to tear into your project for long term. Thank you. Seth |

Re: Beginner Restoration Location Questions
i have the same problem. I leave my truck at my office and the managers dont allow non op cars there. So anything I do has to be fixable in a weekend. i suppose i could do engine work as long as it doesnt look half assembled body wise.
at my condo i cant even change the oil in the parking lot and the truck wont fit in the garage. |

Re: Beginner Restoration Location Questions
I hate to sound like a wise a$$ but buy a house...time ,life ,and money being what they are the last thing you need is a project you cant finish because you're too busy and all your spare cash is going to a storage unit or off site rental garage...and you're not going to get much done outside over the winter in mi. believe me my own resto has been going on for 20 years.i know many people who could have bought finished vehicles for what they have spent storing unfinished projects...the housing market sucks and prices are low so consider it...
