Smile Possible help request: any Spokane, Wa area members?

Ok guys, here is the backstory.
I'm considering 'closing' a deal on a good set of cast iron heads out of the spokane area (yes, I did say cast iron...and not aluminum- forgive me LOL).
What I'm wrestling with is getting the heads properly paid for (and value received if you know what I mean). Then getting the heads over to Blaine, Wa.
I am considering using UPS which right now estimates basic shipping cost at about $80...which is a little pricey but not too bad given the 90-100 lb weight I suppose.
Anyways, I was wondering if any of the members in the Spokane area routinely? (or not?) head west up the Blaine way at all?
Any response on this is welcome...and many thanks!!
all Good

Geez, thats reasonably close John....I appreciate the feedback on that.
I'm not worried about payin' for it....just a little concerned about receiving it I suppose.
I was thinking of when I went down to the Portland swap meet a month or so ago. I told a bunch of buddies that weren't going...let me know if you want me to pick something up for you either at the meet or en-route because its way easier for me to step out and do it while there or travelling. Minimal hassle for me, but pretty helpful for them with an extra set of eyes and hands on it.
Anywhooo, so I'm thinking I probably don't have too much to lose by just at least putting the word out and asking...what the heck?
All good

You looking for camel hump heads? I see them on Craigslist all the time. I'm sure you can find some in Vancouver and won't have to worry about the crazy expensive shipping. Use that money saved to have them rebuilt.

Have the guy send 'em on GREYHOUND. Shipping is way more reasonable than UPS and across state, probably faster. I've bought and sold stuff using them and it worked out well on big stuff like wheels, a set of Z06 heads and titanium exhaust.

Thats a really great idea. I'll try to get a quote from them today. Hopefully the 100lb weight does not exceed their shipping/handling weight limits.
Thanks for the info, All Good
