new radiator rubber isolators?
Guys
Where can i get replacement top and bottom radiator isolators? I might need one of the bottom sleeves as well. thanks guys! |

yes it is! it looks like the upper and lower pads "19" on the catalog page is the same for the upper and lower? My upper and lower look different. Can you clarify?
Also, is there any special way that "18" fits into the core support? mine seem too wide to fit in there. Any tricks? thanks guys |

I had to bend my core support with a pair of pliers.Some one may chime in with a better solution.Mine looked a little different aswell.I think its just from years of being in the same position.When I first put my radiator in then my upper mounts and rubbers it didn't seem to fit well but just tighten those bolts and it should squeeze the rubber.Have you removed the lower retainers yet?

Fwiw... Ive done a frame off on my Jimmy. I have replaced, plated, painted or powdercoated every single solitary flippin peice... except those rubber radiator support peices. Why, because as bad as they looked, they look brand new now. How did we do that? Get a can of laquer thinner and a rag, wet the rag with the thinner and rub the rubber peice clean. Its easy and you will be amazed. Works well on other rubber parts as well. give it a try.
