Ididit info Please
I have a 57 PU with I think the stock steering column. It sits way to high to drive comfortably. Can anyone please tell me if the basic retrofit Ididit column is any shorter in the cab or does it stick up just as high. Thanks for your time.

they make them in several lengths. There are several members that can give you more info. I made my own so all I know is what I have seen.

Re: Ididit info Please
I have an Ididit in my 57.With the late 80s seat the column could be just a little taller for me.thought about getting different wheel with a dished center to bring it a little closer to me when cruising.I think mine was 32 inch long.

Wow I can only hope that mine ends up as nice as yours. Thanks for showing me. I was afraid that the column might be as high as the original. I am sure I can make this one work. Thank You and Safe Cruising.
