Tire size question
I've looked at several trucks but cant find the tire size they are running. I'm going to ditch the 15x10 vette rally wheels with the 275./60/15's and run the 17x8 soft 8's that I got from Summit. They have a 4 in backspace on them and I know they will tuck fine up front and I'm going to run a half inch or so spacer in the rear. In your experience with these trucks, what is good size tire to run? I don't want to run rubber band wheels as my truck is only dropped 2.5 up front and 2 in the rear. Just looking for a not to low not to tall of a side wall.

Re: Tire size question
Little different truck, but I had a 90 GMC that was lowered 2.5" up front and I think 4-5" in the rear to level some. But I was running 17x8s front and 9.5 rear. IIRC, I had 255/55 front and 275/55 rear. The rears where roughly same diameter as stock, while the front was a touch shorter...Looked awesome, that was when not many people were running 17s, they were huge...lo....

Re: Tire size question
Thanks. I'm guess I'm going to have to get the tire guy to mount some used tires in different sizes and see what fits and looks the best.
