interesting modded 57 dash

Check out the dashboard on this 57. It looks like and 80's style Camaro dashboard.

Looks like a berlinetta camaro. Probobly cool back in the 80s when he stopped working on it.

Re: interesting modded 57 dash

I'm not a big fan of modern dashes in the older trucks.

Re: interesting modded 57 dash

That dash has some potential but I'm not sure I have the vision to make it work.

Is that a 307 Olds engine under the hood? "Big Block" would be a technicality...

Re: interesting modded 57 dash

It is definately not a Chevy "big block". Also the clip origin and detail photos are not posted. One cab corner looks questionable, make one wonder about the rest of the body. Definately one to see in person before bidding, more questions than answers.

It's a Cad engine 425 or larger. It sound like the seller might be a flipper who picked it up to sell but doesn't know a lot about it and I second the don't bid unless you can inspect it yourself or have someone inspect it for you.

48 Chev 3100 that will run a 292 Six.
71 GMC 2500 that is getting a Cad 500 transplant.
77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.

Also no title so could have just been "found" and last owner does not know its gone yet. I'd get the vin and check in a few states around there to see who the last owner was. If the guy will not cooperate walk away.

Its not far from me. It gets scarier , no vin plate and no frame number no paper trail of any kind. The firewall is not original it looks like a camaro with a Caddy engine, cab corners are pure bondo. Its real value is maybe $500 if it ran. There isn't enough left to even bring it back to original.

For some odd reason with all the Texas resto filp shows on TV now everyone thinks they're going to get rich off old junk.
