best wood kit bed out there, and other questions...
hey guys!
looking to get a complete kit for my 69 longbed with some kind of dark rich wood to match my dark purple truck...best one availible out there? opinions" also i want a hard tonneoua cover for my bed to protect it. Also i am wanting a complete set up to covert my front end from 6 lug drums to 5 lug disk brakes. i want booster and everything required for the switch up? does anyone sell a complete package like such? Im currently deployed, but when i get back im gonna finish her up! im super excited and trying to order parts for when i get back home! thanks! |

Search Bedwoodandparts.com, very good stuff. Most board venders carry the front end parts but you could buy 71/72 junkyard stuff to save $$. Also check the parts board on here. Stay safe wherever you are. Posted via Mobile Device

Hi Seanhizzo,
I've done everything you just mentioned in Custom Classic Trucks on my '68 C10. Shoot me your mailing info via PM and I'll put a care package together with the issues I can find that cover your questions, if you'd like. Here's the gist of what I used: CPP Grand Slam big brake kit, converted 6-lug to 5x4 3/4-inch (Passenger Chevy). Bed Wood & Parts Sapele custom kit with even width boards, turned out very nice. I've used them on two projects now and their stuff can't be beat if you're wanting something custom. Good luck and stay safe! |

If you want a hard tonneau cover, Gaylord's makes a very nice one.
