wheel and tire combo

This is what I am trying to go for. Anyone know what this wheel and tire combo would be. guessing 15x8 or 15x10 in the rear. havent had a lot of luck finding wide white wall tires that are also wide enough for a 15x10. I have been looking at Diamond Back tires to get a 275/60 15 for the rear. Would like to go a little wider but not having luck without going to a 285/70 Coker. Not wanting a tire that tall. Going full Porterbuilt so a 28 or 29 inch rear tire is the goal.

That's great to hear, parkwood!

I picked up a set of Ansen Sprints that are 15x7 and 15x8 for my '56 this weekend at Brad54's swap meet (the price was too good to pass up), figuring that I'd swap the 8's for a pair of 7's, but not now !!!

these on the suburban were 4" back space but that's what worked with how wide the rear end was.. which if I remember was 60" end to end... on the primer truck the owner had to have those made special and I think he told me they had 3 1/2" back space...

Parkwood - I'm not usually a wide white guy but I friggin LOVE that primer '57. Do you know what suspension he's running? Bags? It's just about enough to make me reconsider my I beam and consider IFS.

I'll tell him you like it.... and yes he's running bags in front with a TCI leaf spring kit in the rear... It's been something he's worked on for a few years.. If you do want to go Mll front end let me know and i'll hook you up with a good deal.
