Are these ball joints from OReilly's correct?
I got a set of ball joints from OReillys - Masterpro K6023.
On the first one - the diameter was correct and it seemed to install correct (using a ball joint press). The problem is, it looks like it sits higher between the spindle and the lower part (is that the lower control arm?) then the stock one. The castle nut goes on and the cotter pin fits. The second one was the wrong diameter (correct part number on the box)- it just slipped into place, instead of needing to be pressed in. Maybe I'm just paranoid now that I found the other one didn't fit. The ball joint press doesn't work to remove the ball joints, otherwise I'd just press this one out and get a set from Napa. I had to beat the old ones out with a hammer, with a honda jack as an assist. As it is, I'll probably get the other one from Napa. Thanks for any input. Here's a pic of the OReilly one that I think sits a little high.

Re: Are these ball joints from OReilly's correct?
I got my ball joints from O'Reillys, Moog #K6023 and they fit. According to their website the Moog and Masterpro cross for my 67 C10. Does that help?

Thanks 68 step, I think I just got a bad ball joint. I ended up getting a napa one to install on the other side. After installing the other side, it looks like they both seat about the same, so I guess this one is ok.
