New Wheels? can I get some help!

I'm really shooting for getting Torque Thrust M.!! 8.5 or 9 in the front and 10 in the rear.
Can I get any opinions on where to look for a good deal, on the rim and tire? Of course I'm shooting for 20's all the way around on 5 lug.

Subscribing. Im on the same mission now. Going with Coys C5's 8.5 front and 10 back but need to figure out tires.

There are several board vendors that sell wheels. Hopefully they will chime in here, soon. Another option is Newstalgia Wheel. www.newstalgiawheel.com They carry plenty of wheels and tires and should be able to fix you up. They also sometimes offer free shipping.

But skip the Torq Thrust M's.
Get the Torq Thrust II's like you pictured,...

Using the Newstalgia can I call and pretty much set up what I want and they'll mounted it and send it basically? Its seems like a big company for the littler I've overviewed!

And I'm not so sure on the "D's" man...lol.....I'm not sure if it'd match my REd and White. Not to be foolish...just shooting for my best thoughts of match up! Thanks though!

No, sadly man No idea on the drop? curious myself?
My first drop is the cheap style....first I'll mount the wheels and then heat the coil springs until the drop looks good. (What I've been told is you can torch(heat) the springs and they'll weaken and go down.....and sadly once the metal hardens after it cools it becomes a lot stiffer, but I'll work with it now financially that works!) lol

They are American Racing Torq Thrust II's.
20x8's with a 245/40-20.

These wheels only come in two 20" sizes.
20x8 and 20x9.5.

""American Racing Torq Thrust® II VN405 2-PC Polished"" The best part about these wheels are they make them in 20x10's and 20x12's!! That was also what I was looking for.... The width? So after a lot of searching this site: http://www.customwheelsexpress.com/shopping_cart.php is the best I've found for size/WIDTH/cost/ and style!

I like some meat on the back....so 12's would make that happen..... but I'm not shooting for a drag truck and putting skinny's on front? So I'm kinda feeling 9.5 in front and 12 in back!?!?? or step down and go 8's front and 10's back.
ahhh...sorry I'm venting/typing what should I do! It's helping to type it out! haha If you got any tips advice...through it down!! Thanks again!!

I eventually plan to run 18x10's all around on my truck. I would run a wider wheel in the rear, but there's just not room on a stepside without cutting the bedsides and running wheel tubs. I personally think a 9.5" wheel would be ok in the front.

As for heating the springs, I'm not real crazy about that. It does make for a stiffer ride, but it also fatigues the metal. I've seen springs collapse and cause damage because of this. It's just not smart. Drop springs aren't that expensive, so if it were me, I'd do the drop first, and get wheels later. I don't see the point in buying expensive wheels, just to possibly have them, or my truck damaged due to improper lowering techniques.

I'm not trying to burst your bubble, but it comes back to the old saying: Just because you can do it, doesn't mean you should.

Well thanks man! And Yeah i'll probably go with 9.5 in front and after measuring here soon I'm also planning on going 20x12..."that's if I dont' gotta do a lot of cutting in the rear/bed"

But Yeah I see what you mean about why get wheels first. But then again, its just an encourage fact for myself to hurry up and get the spindles instead of riding on the "real cheap drop". and using the springs as a drop wasn't my first plan, as of now its turned to my "B" plan for the time being --->due to I want the wheels--- first-- to pick the drop I want to match the look I'm shooting for!

Well that's a "want." I'm pretty sure the front end 20x9.5 will work. The rear end 20x12is where I'm stumpted? I've read a few forumns/google questions on "will they fit?" and I've learned some tips. But can I get any tips on what I might have to do? Tub? Spacers?...

The drop I would like to do isn't crazy, not that tucking crazy, lol But I would like to drop it right to where the tire is filling the whole wheel well. Like, tire not quite touching the wheel well* at the top point.

Other points: I don't want a lot of lip, I know crazy having a tire that big...but I'm not really a "lip" showing guy. So can I get any tips?

All I can figure first is to measure the axle length and then figure what offset I need to fit the point I would like? But my concern is do I need "spacers? or buy tubs now?
