Water temp gauge sensor placement.

I just bought a water temp gauge and have no idea where to install on it on the block. The truck has got one currently on it right now, which is located below and between number 1 and 3 cyclinder.

Re: Water temp gauge sensor placement.

If the stock one doesn't work, then why would you leave it in the block?

look on the intake near the water neck or on the water neck, might be a plug you can remove and install there, thats where mine is and works fine

Ok, thanks. Does this give a pretty acurate reading of the block also?
