truck wanting to quit?

okay so its been a while since i posted but i have sold my s10 that i had for my daily and now i drive my truck daily. But anyways when i go to put my truck down to the floor to pass, it almost wants to quit.. like it bogs then all of a sudden shifts down and goes like hell. And other times when i first start it she will die when i shift into reverse or drive.. HELP please thanks

Sounds like you could use a good ol fashioned tune up.
If choke not functioning then drive gentle till warm up.
Make sure choke opens.
Carb may be ready for an accelerator pump, tune and/or rebuild.
I'd then check timing, plugs, etc.

I'd check the Vac advance,for movement and free weights
any chance of vac leaks?

I drive this truck gentle most always. And I always let the choke settle in before taking off. The carb was rebuilt last year and I had also just did a tune up a few weeks ago. I can't see, feel or hear any vacuum leaks either. Stumped!
