Project sixty nine
This is my sixtynine Chevy c10. I have had this truck for 18 years. This is my third time doing the truck. I changed the front end to a sixty eight. I welded everything together, the cowl, fenders, bed to the cab, the only gaps are for the hood and doors. I made a new windshield frame and welded it in. I wanted to glue the windshield and have a small molding like the new trucks. I redid all the gaps around the doors and hood. After welding everything I leaded all my seams and used Duraglass and Z grip to get the body smooth. In the interior, I made a custom dash and metal console. I am working on the hood right now. I did the the whole outer skin and took the peak out. I did a 4 inch body drop on the truck, for the frame I have a 79 nova subframe and c notched the rear. Will have a full air ride suspension. I will post more pics.

Re: Project sixty nine
Glad to see you on here! After seeing all those photos on IG, I'm still seeing details I missed before. Hood looks clean without the peak.

Re: Project sixty nine
Since you took the peak out did you have to add some support to keep it from oil canning?
