Which tailgate letters for 1966 stepside?

I have a '66 with factory tailgate(stepside) & want to put contrasting decals over the factory letters. Looking at various sites, I see questionable-fit sets--one says same set fits like 49-72, while another set says 60-66; year-specifics seem to conflict somewhat. Also, some letters look more block-style whereas others look more oval-style. Some are solid while others are outline--I'm sure I do not want the outline set.

Anyone used a set you were pleased with? If so, where from and which ones did you get? Also would appreciate any tips on fitting each letter properly, as I recently saw an otherwise nice-looking *ord(Yikes!) whose looks were just crushed due to one letter sitting a tad 'off'--even my wife pointed it out w/o my mentioning it to her. And to think, they only had 4 letters to put on straight!

apply with windex so you get them strait.

I bought mine from classic parts. They are good and went on with no problem. I used soap and water to install them. My tailgate came from a 1986 stepside and I ordered 54-87. You shouldn't have any problems.
