Spring installation question ?
Hey guys,
Quick question is it possible to install my stock front coils on my bare frame (no motor,trans,cab, bed) ? with out one of those spring compactors ? If so please share the how to Thanks guys -Aden |

spring comprssors are very dangerouse so if you choose to go that route take your time so you dont tighten down one side quicker than the others
honestly it would be easier poping out the lower balljoint and getting it out that way are these stock?

I was not able to find a spring compressor that would work on my 3/4 ton. I managed to get the springs in using a method I won't describe because it is too risky. It was tough, and I had my engine and trans mounted. Later I found the thread below. Check post 10. Makes sense, but I cannot personally vouch for it.
