Craptastic repro wiper arms! Where to find good ones??
I bought a pair of reproduction wiper arms for my '61 Suburban.
Obviously, they are not intended to see actual rain... the first rain shower, the damn thing folded like aluminum foil. The formed body completely deflected and bent from the drag of the wiper blade on the windshield, then the WIND folded it over the rest of the way! Complete junk. So, who out there has a decent reproduction wiper arm built to factory specs? -Brad

I bought NOS name brand wiper arms from Ebay. They're the only ones I've found that fit and function as originally designed.

Re: Craptastic repro wiper arms! Where to find good ones??
I had to hunt far and wide. Finally found a Tri-Co listing for a 1963 pickup--local stores had no listing that far back. Most stores had lists for only no-name arms AND blades. Tri-Co had them both--when I finally found 'em.
Sorry I don't know where I found the listing--maybe via Google, and then got Advance(??) to order the numbers I furnished. Great quality! Sam |

Just checked & O'Reilly's has Trico arms listed(sure they have blades also). I found that these, with adjustable tabs on end, are necessary on pickups to make the blades lie flat against w'shield seal when they are parked:
