Cam....I am having some trouble lol.

Ok..I just got a cam that is a Comp Cam with a .268 lift on it. I was talkni to a few people i kno, and they were saying it was kidna low. So i think i wanna a higher lift....with some real good low en d power for good launches...i need to improve my 60ft. ALOT haha. I kno a guy with a truck like mine and he has a .668 lift and said it was great, but since i am not a modded as he, i think i will go with somethig in the high 400s. By the way wat is my stock cam lift?wat is yalls take on this ?

I think I helped you before?? I don't know if a .268 lift is possible. Are you sure 268 isn't the grind number? Maybe the duration? I'm willing to bet it is. I do know that a Comp Cams 268 grind should be in the mid-high .400's lift-wise.

The lift is .454, I can't explain cams in any way that makes sense, so I'll leave that to the pros

Please someone do lol. Is a .454 lift good for a stock truck with a full exhasut system and headers? Oh and one more thing...can anyone recommand a good Intake manifold for the 350 as well. It maybe be a taboo for asking but i wnat to hear yalls opinions on brands and wat not u kno. But i will get an intake and put it on with the cam since its gotta come off anyawys lol. I really thx yall for the help.

That looks like the High Energy series. It's a single pattern cam, with 218 degrees of duration @.050" lift on both intake and exhaust. .454" of lift on both sides using 1.5 rockers.

Looks like a fairly decent cam for a mild 350. Comp says it's got a choppy idle. Single pattern cams will have a more choppy idle over dual patterns.

On the intake, a Edelbrock Performer is a decent intake for mild 350.
