Serpentine Conversion
I have a couple of questions. A friend has a 94 S-10 Blazer with the 4.3 liter.I can buy everything of the front of the engine for $75 dollars minus the a/c compressor.
I am pretty sure that is a great deal. Will it work on my 84 K10 with a 383 sbc ? If it will what is involved in doing the 1 wire hook up on the alternator? Any advice is welcome. |

Re: Serpentine Conversion
You should pay attention to the fuel pump area as the 4.3 has an electric and the brackets my interfere with your machanical pump.
There is something about the pass. side bracket and how it bolts to the V8 cylinder head that is not ideal. I just can't remember exactly what the problem was. Maybe not all the bolt holes line up? Don't forget you need the water pump from the 4.3 as it's reverse rotation. (or get one for a later 350) It will work just a few things to look out for...
