A Couple Pics of my 82..

I've been on the site awhile now and have never posted any pics of the truck I've been working on, so I took a few today. 82 GMC Sierra, Built 358SBC/350 turbo trans.

Looks nice bud, how'd you paint that front bumper? I've always toyed with the idea of doing it but have just never pulled the trigger.

Thanks. I used black Plastidip on the bumpers. It works really well. All you have to do is clean them good, and then wipe them down with rubbing alcohol, and then spray them, I did about 1 light coat, and then 3 heavier coats.

Re: A Couple Pics of my 82..

You did not have to sand the bumper at all? Thought you would have to sand the bumpers so the paint would have something to stick to.

Haha, I actually have a can sitting here, how many cans did it take for you?

It took about 1.5 - 2 cans per bumper. You can get 4 cans and have some left over.

Thanks! I used Western Chassis 2.5 inch drop spindles, and DJM 2 inch drop springs, and a Western Chassis flip kit in the rear. I'm thinking I may eventually drop it another inch or so though.
