16.5" wheels on a K5?

Check out this loaded blazer I came across on CL. Supposed 85 k miles.

What would have been the rim width? Is that 10 or 6?

If the spare tire shown is any indication, I would say the rim width was either 10 or more likely 9.75 inches.

I think that's actually a pretty good deal, based on the photos.

The original rims for that blazer were the 16.5 steelies, those right there are rallies.

The spid shows it as 10" wide. 6pr means 6 ply rating. I owned a set of these in the 90's and they have no provisions for hub caps.

I would be interested in a set of 16.5x10 in 8x6.5 if there are any available...

Re: 16.5" wheels on a K5?

The OEM wheels listed are 8.25" wide - same as those for my 3/4 ton K20 save for 6 rather than 8 lugs - tires were 10" wide. Listed three times: front, rear, and spare. Unusual wheels for a K5 I'm sure. That spare is probably original to the truck. Don't believe the 9.75" wheels were available from GM.

That Blazer is sweet! It's had a paint but I'd buy it for that price....
