Re: 62 v8 tranny crossmember
Welcome to the forum
There isn't one that will bolt in except for an original '60-'62 auto trans crossmember. You will have to either fab one or modify a factory crossmember to fit in between the X-member. There are holes in the X-member where the factory trans crossmember bolted in. There is a pattern of 3 holes on each side. Member markeb01 has some pics of the one he built for his truck. Hopefully he will see this thread and post. If you had a '63 and up, you could use one of several factory crossmembers.

Re: 62 v8 tranny crossmember
The aftermarket hates our 60-62 frames. I dig them. Seems like theyre stronger with the giant X.

Re: 62 v8 tranny crossmember
They were only used for 3 years, and are a little more difficult to work with when upgrading the drivetrain. The '63-'72 frames are basically the same, so the aftermarket parts have a larger potential customer base. In fact the '73-'87 frames are very similar to the '63-'72 frames also.
There are some aftermarket parts that say they will work for '60-'66, but it is not always true. Just do some checking before buying those parts. They may either not work, or require some modifying to work.

Re: 62 v8 tranny crossmember
Welcome to the forum! These threads may be of some help to you. The first deals with 60-62 V8 conversion and the 2nd deals with installing a coil spring suspension, should you have any interest later:

Made mine from of a side section of the original bell-mount crossmember and some plate.
