HEI distributors?

Hey guys. im sure this question has been asked before but is there an HEI distributor for the 235 inline 6 gm motor? If so where is the best place to order them from?

Check with GMC Bubba, he does a lot of conversions using the original distributor housing with pretty much off the shelf oem style electronic parts.

You can either send your distributor in and have it redone or buy one of his cores but the distributor is completely rebuilt and then converted to electronic.

77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.

a quick question. all those post i read had to have some modifications done to the new HEI distributor. I found this one that says its for all these size of inline 6's but doesnt cover 235 would this one work in my 235. and as always thanks for the input

Probably not because some of the engines noted are the factory donors for HEI conversions in the linked articles. It also looks a lot like the V8 China ones that have notorius problems. Look at the links, get a good quality GM unit off a later 6 and modify it, if I remember right you can do it with hand air grinders, no lathe or milling machines required.
