just a few of my 1970 swb pickup.these pics were taken at the used car lot were I purchased it for 3500.00.like a barn find.body of truck was in great shape for the year .of course normal rocker panel/cab corners rot that was repaired before.bed was in very good shape with only a couple small pin hole rust spots. tailgate was shot. significant rust through at bottom . pretty neat shifter lever huh.2 craftsman wrenches welded together.will post more later

Thanks. It was fate.I first saw this truck on craigslist and liked it but owner wanted 5995.00 for it .then he said he was going to put it on ebay the following week if he didn't sell it locally. the truck went on ebay ..I was the next highest bidder;s top bid was 3800.00,the first bidder backed out so owner emailed me and asked if I wanted it for the bid I placed and I said mark it sold.went down that next weekend and drove it home.came from factory as a base truck and I mean BASE!!! 6cyl,3 on tree and 4 wheels not even a radio.but PO put a sb 350 and a 4 speed Saginaw in it.I've been restoring it since June of 2012 cleaned and painted frame.added drop spindles in front and drop springs and blocks in rear 2.5/4.5 drop.all new steering and suspension parts.added Hellwig front sway bar, and 6 lug front disc brake conversion kit. .My long time friend is a body and paint tech. and is really doing a great job on the body and paint work, and has been helping me with the mechanical work also.I'll post more pics when I get the time.thanks again for the compliments.
