That would just look wrong. and the 51 isn't a F100 it is a F1.

Re: F100 fender on a chevy bed ???

Hy all,

sorry i am not that firm with the ford trucks... how can i change the title ?

Actually i believe the F1 fendes looks better than the original ..

If you compare the shape of the Chevy front fenders , they look even closer to the F1 rear fenders..than the originals..

Furthermore i want to put some bigger tires on the truck... so the f1 fenders also wider than the chevy´s

thanks

Re: F100 fender on a chevy bed ???

We told him it was just WRONG over on the HAMB but he is searching for someone to give him the answer he wants.

I've seen just about every combination of trucks and beds you can think of here in the valley because the local folks often used what they had available if they wrecked the bed on their truck that includes task force beds on F100 trucks and Ford beds and fenders on Chevy trucks. It always looks wrong even if it functions quite well.

I used to know a guy that would ask a question then argue about the answer. Every time!

I fail to see any similarities to the ford and Chevy fenders.
You can get wider fiberglass fenders for the AD trucks.

The wrong fenders on a truck never look right to me. I would say don't do it, but It's your truck and you are the only one who has to like it.

Re: F100 fender on a chevy bed ???

The ford has straighter Harder lines where the Chevy has softer more rounded lines.
The two will not mix well.

Don't do it....there, I said it!

Your truck, your money, do whatever you want. Just don't be offended when guys ask you, "why'd you do THAT?!"

I say if you think you will like it go for it. I'm not afraid of trying something different and if you don't like it its easy to change fenders back to the original. Dare to be different.

Cool Re: F100 fender on a chevy bed ???

a photoshop picture would be a great idea....anyobe able to do that ?

i am just wondering about ur opinions, as u can see on the pics from ashley the front fender has also straighter harder lines like the F1 rear fender.

May i will be lucky and find some affordable F1 fenders here in Germany, to give it a try..
