New Project 53 3100, Old Member

It's been awhile since I have been on the board. Originally found this site when I was 17 and bought my first truck,a 69 c-10. This site taught me a ton and was invaluable to me being able to get it on the road. Unfortunately I flipped that one and had to part it out in 2009. I always wanted another 67-72 but had an opportunity come up that I couldnt pass. Introducing the 53....it is an all original 53 3100 series that is very straight! Looking forward to turning wrenches again and getting this one back on the road! Plans for not is to just get it road worthy and enjoy it for what it is, an old truck! Drive train will be a 292 with a 3 speed. Staying as original as possible to help keep costs low. I'm sure I will have plenty of questions once I tear into it.
