Which electric fuel pump for my 71

I have a 71 with a 350 motor in it. I'm current running a Boyd tank in the rear of my truck also. I would like to put an electric fuel pump on my truck but have no clue which pumps to use. I've been fighting vapor lock issues with my current mechanical pump. After trying many things with no luck I'm thinking about going to an electric pump. Does anyone have any suggested electric external fuel pumps they've used and works well? Thanks

I have a 1972 Cheyenne with vapor lock problems I think I need to get an electric pump but was wondering if a higher volume mechanical will work. I do have a return line but still vapor lock. :-(

Re: Which electric fuel pump for my 71

I use a "Facet solid state pump" pt# 40105, its a 4.5 lb's & 30 gallons per hour capable pump that works well with my quadrajet.

Have not had any vapor lock problems since i starded using them.

Got them from "Air Craft Spruce" about $38.00. and i figure if they use them on airplanes
they will work on my truck.

Hope this helped
Joe
